Carmen is a music postgraduate research student at the University of Bristol. She graduated from the University of Hull, specialising in piano performance and composition. Following her undergraduate study, she then completed an MA in music composition at the University of Bristol in 2013. 

She worked as a summer course music teacher at  Hong Kong Police harmonica club from 2008 to 2012 and taught different music classes for young children such as melodeon and harmonica courses, as well as music theory for children and learning English through singing.

Her goal is to help the students to develop their self-esteem, musical knowledge and playing techniques through harmonica lessons, as well as having fun!
